Reading books.

 Reading books.

I know it seems like an obvious choice and many of you probably do it but I’m afraid there are some who just forget about reading to our kids.

Wanting to start a passionate affair between Mikolay & books, we started reading him at least two short stories in the evening before he goes to sleep.

At first he wasn’t keen on ‘cos it meant sitting still (or lying) & concentrating. And it was his precious time he could use for playing around with his toys. However with time he really started listening to the stories, got to love them, even asked for more every evening.

Assign specific time as reading time during the day (it doesn’t have to be evening) and stick to it, even if your child doesn’t listen. Sooner or later s/he will.

Enjoy your time together,
