I am a Victorian history enthusiast, with a particular interest in Victorian Crime and I live in Stirling, Scotland, with my husband, crime fiction author, David Wilson. I wrote and self published two ebooks: ‘A Year in Victorian Edinburgh’ and ‘Crime and Punishment in Victorian Edinburgh’; then wrote a paperback: ‘Murder and Crime in Stirling’, which has been published by The History Press. I also carry out historical research and write articles for newspapers and websites.

I live in Greece with my husband and two daughters but I was born in the Midlands UK. I have other thirty publications including nonfiction, poetry, short stories and novels.
What inspired you to write your first book?
My first book is called "In Times of Violence". It started out as a short story I wrote after reading The Outsiders. Years later, I picked up my short story and started working on it. It soon went from 18 pages to 300. The story grew and the characters came alive.
